You should remind people NEVER to forward something from the list
without removing the TO: address.  That cuts down on spam substantially.
Alternatively, mailman lets me restrict most of the groups I run to
receive mail ONLY from subscribers, and to moderate subscriptions
to keep the spammers from subscribing.  If you are asked to APPROVE
a submission from someone else who is using an ALTERNATIVE address,
you can add that address as one permitted to send to the group without
receiving another copy at the alternative address.   Just a thought.
