Still misses it, since it overlooks the following scenario:

"... mankind is capable of impacting global climate AND with 100%
probability overcoming a possible naturally occurring opposite trend?"

Why, yes! I am not certain that IF there is a natural trend UP or
DOWN, humanity can necessarily overcome it

Let's analyze it, using the following hypothesis:

- natural trend now is up by X%, humanity adds X/100%  (result: no
impact beyond natural)
- natural trend now is up by X%, humanity adds Y% and X~Y  (result: we
increase what is happening naturally)
- natural trend now is up by X%, humanity subtracts X/100% (result: no
impact beyond natural)
- natural trend now is up by X%, humanity subtracts  Y% and X~Y
(result: we cancel out natural "warning" with human induced 'cooling')
- <same with  natural trend down by X%>

Which one is real?
